Long time.....

So I have not been faithful in writing this blog. I am going to do better! It's a nice way of keeping people up on what the kiddos are up to. We are busy living life in Ghana.
Ben is doing well being a big brother. He is actually gaining a little wieght. He has made some friends and is doing fine at school. He is great at thinking of words that start with each letter of the alphabet and is starting to sound words out.
Liz is following her passion for being a mommy. She carries her babydolls on her back and keeps track of what the others are doing at every moment.
Elaina is starting to speak and still enjoys eating everything.
Over the past few weeks Ben has asked for a brother. He says he wants his 2 sisters and his brother so we are giving in! We found out that baby 4 will be here in June. So this will probably be the end, 4 is enough.
Otherwise all is going well. Thanksgiving went well. I made chicken and some side dishes and everyone ate a lot. Just waiting for Christmas.

Last couple weeks

These last few weeks have went so fast! We have had lots of fun weekends and evening with the kids. The house was broken into the other night. Only lost is the TV so not that bad, everyone was safe. We are now working on increasing the security which is already pretty high.
The same night, Liz decided she is terrified of dogs. Every dog that barked make her scream all night long!
Today I am teaching again. This time it's science to seniors, just my thing! Had one study hours with 7th grade boys and wow they are a hand full!
Last night Michael surprised me with a smart phone! So excited to get home and play with it! It will be great. Otherwise just the same things going on.

Entry in PhD program

So much has happened in the past few weeks. Lots of play time and normal activities. One exciting thing that happened is that I was accepted in a PhD program for public health. So excited to starts classes again. It's the perfect time for this too.

New adventures

It has been about 2.5 years since I have posted anything on this blog but i'm back. I am starting to blog about our adventures in Ghana. So it will take a few days to update it fully.


Well we have 3 little babies, Benjamin, Elizabeth, and Elaina. With this full house we have moved back to Ghana to live for some time. We have been here for a little over a month. It was a true adventure coming, getting the apartment cleaned out, packing everything, sending the van over and then the long flight! Lucky my Aunt was so kind to come spend a vacation here and help get the kids situated. we arrived without any major problems. The house is now so full and so noisy! I never can say my kids are quiet!

Ben has started a big school. His teacher has already mentioned the over abundant energy that he has. He jumps off chairs and tables!

Lizzy and Lainy have both started a Creche, a daycare with some formal teaching. They are loving it! It took a little time but they love it now.

As for me, I am looking for full time employment. I am substitute teaching today at the American School. This should be interesting I haven't been in the classroom for about 4 years.

Michael has been very busy with work, the business, and his endless pursuit of investment.

This has been an exciting month with so many new adventures too many to relive. I will post more often to share this exciting adventures.
